Employers - The Benefit of Legal Expense Cover

Where you already have the benefit of a legal expense insurance policy, then in the event that an employment claim is commenced against you, the policy will cover your legal costs (in most instances from the point of issue) through to full representation at the Employment Tribunal.

If you do not have a legal expense policy, we are able to assist in obtaining a policy of insurance for you.

We would recommend that this policy is taken out before any conflict issues arise. At the inception of the policy Net Employment Solicitors will;
  • Carry out a full audit/review of your company's employment documents,
  • Highlight any deficiencies, and
  • Advise you on how to make your documents comply with UK employment law, thereby minimising potential claims.
You would also have the benefit of a legal enquiries help-line.

A legal expense policy will cover the cost of Net Employment Solicitors defending an action brought against you and will also cover payment of any compensation or damages which you are deemed liable to pay to your employee, in the event of a claim against you.
