Meet the Net Solicitors team.

Bola Fakoya

Principal Solicitor & Managing Director

Having completed  her legal training with a top 500 regional firm in Kent, Bola qualified as a solicitor in 1994 . She then worked for a Local Authority, before becoming a partner in a firm in London. In 2006 Net Solicitors was launched as an internet-based practice.

Bola previously specialised in complex employment law and psychiatric industrial injury claims, successfully winning  and settling cases including high value claims against large national and international companies . Bola has taken cases to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, she now deals primarily  with practice management and compliance.

 

Outside of work, Bola has varied interests enjoys cooking for family and friends, creative writing, surfing the ocean waves (entry level!) and world travel. She can also be found walking cross country accompanied by her Goldadore ‘AJ’ the family and office dog.

Jumoke Hughes

Consultant Barrister

 Jumoke was called to the Bar in 1999, she has  represented clients in complex divorce matters and has extensive experience dealing with financial orders and often, consequentially, child arrangement orders. She is regularly instructed to undertake fact finding hearings in private proceedings where there are allegations of sexual or domestic abuse. Being highly experienced in multi-jurisdictional divorce work and cases involving special guardianships, she regularly appears in  both the County Court and  High Court . Jumoke has achieved great results, with high-value settlements involving millions of pounds in property and financial settlements; having a  pragmatic approach to these matters has resulted in great results for her clients.

 

In her spare time Jumoke enjoy‘s cooking, reading, entertaining and watching K-Drama.

Pranav Bhanot

Partner, Wyn Legal

Having trained at a firm in the City, Pranav qualified as a commercial and property litigation solicitor having represented national and local Government and the NHS. Having worked at a number of regional and West-End law firms, Pranav undertakes a wide range of commercial and property litigation work including debt recovery, professional negligence, property litigation and employment matters. In November 2019, he was shortlisted as “Junior Lawyer of the Year” in the Law Society of England and Wales Excellence Awards and is the former President of BPP Law School. In 2022, he was made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours

Ben Hawkins

Consultant Solicitor

Ben qualified as a solicitor in 1999, working in house in legal expenses insurance and specialising in consumer disputes. This sparked the interest in group claims which he specialises in today. He has a reputation as an expert in utility claims, having acted for consumers and small businesses in disputes with essential service providers.

Ben has advised on numerous major group litigation matters, including timeshare and related holiday claims, Transvaginal Mesh (TVT) claims and mis-sold investments.

 

Always ready to focus on the business of law, Ben was a pioneer of after the event insurance with DAS and of litigation funding with Commercial Litigation Funding Limited. His ongoing involvement with Litigation Management Limited (LML) is where group cases are created, combining marketing, project management and funding solutions to make new cases happen.

Ben has expertise in Mis-sold Commercial Energy Claims Contracts and Solicitors Scheme Claims.

Outside of work, Ben is a sporty Dad with a sense of adventure. He loves going downhill either on skis or a mountain bike! His favourite places to relax are on a beach, in a boat or out walking with his chocolate Labrador, Coco
